Garden help needed at reasonable hourly rate. Looking for recommendations as well as direct response.
I need help getting my 1 acre yard back under control. Trimming down weed tree saplings and killing the stumps, whacking cane grass (already sprayed and dead). The hardest part is some African tulip and guava (not strawberry) that were cut to open up view and have re-sprouted, because they are on edge of bank by the road. Will take a nimble person, maybe a pole saw, maybe use rope and pull them over. Important to kill the stumps.
Want someone with plenty of experience dealing with east side trimming who is willing to think about the situation. The local kids just mow down everything with no finesse at all. Someone who is willing to be careful and save existing plants, perhaps dig them up, clean up the area and replant. Deep soil, no rocks, so easy to dig except for tree roots. Miscellaneous other work if I can afford it.
I have a weed-whacker with attachments, including hedge trimmer, have a chain saw but it has issues with chain slipping off. There is vehicle access to all parts of the site if needed for hauling trimmings, and there's a garden tractor with cart for moving smaller items.
North of Hilo seven miles. Email me through Punaweb if interested.

there is this option - I added a mount and was able to attach a 12 inch carbide saw blade the my "Poulan high wheel trimmer"
Not for the squeemish - balance and getting the blade balanced and turning "true" everything
I try to wear some sort of shin protection in case things get out of control
Works well I can cut up to 4 inch stumps with ease - carbide harder than blue rock - I am getting a lot more wear out of the blade than expected

I'll do that kind of work. I have "some" knowledge of local plants and am will to dig stuff up and transplant. I have a mower, shindowa weed whacker and a shindowa chain saw, and a truck. I'd charge $15 an hour. I live in Hilo and will go up the coast seval miles and into puna. I also do other handyman stuff, electrical and plumbing. Thanks.

aikahimomma -- so it was good? Funny, he didn't email me. Maybe I live in the wrong area or he didn't like the job?
I don't post my phone number online.
Well, the job is still here, just email me through Punaweb.
Hi Kathy, I am the one who seen the ad and gave the info to Chris, who did work for aikahimomma. I did try to email you, but seen this morning we got a delivery notification in our spam folder that the email failed to go through.
I hope you were able to find someone to take care of your yard, but if you still need help, feel free to call Chris on his business phone: 990-5022

HI
I know a woman who works harder than many men. Jessica.
She does a lot of landscaping and work for people who need reliable and dedicated people to work. Last I heard she was $15 an hr but don't quote me on that. I have known her many years....give her a call.
