Could someone summarize for the bandwidth-challenged? An episode set on the Big Island?

Being "bandwidth challenged" as well, I assume these guys go to B.I. and walk over the lava on a tour or something. Fact is, I saw a show on cable a few months ago where this French geologist takes a group of people so frickin' close to Kilauea I was yelling at the TV: "What is the MATTER with you??" At one point, they're walking on rock with flowing lava visible below it and the jerk is saying, "Quickly now - you must keep your feet moving so you do not melt your shoes." I was flabbergasted at how stupid this was and how these poor folks on the tour were being led so dangerously close to tragedy. Apparently this guy takes groups to the volcanoes all over the world. I can't imagine he had permission to get so close.

That's crazy! The guy leading a "tour" over flowing lava??If someone fell in and burned to death or was seriously injured, the tour guide would be in big trouble.Sounds like a nightmare.

Wear you gloves, stay hydrated, but have as much exposed skin as is OK for daytime TV? I couldn't bear to watch what happens to that blonde. Looked like cheezy sci-fi.

Hawai'i 5-0 is more realistic, except it's mostly on Oahu......

Maybe Puna is hitting the big time!
