7+ Emergency Vehicles headed S on 130

During the last 15 minutes or so (it is now 10:40am on Wednesday, 27JUL) on Hwy 130 between Lelani Estates and Makuu/HPP I passed five fire trucks, an ambulance and two blue-light (police or fire?) SUVs headed south on 130, past Pahoa. All of them had lights on and some sirens as well. Anyone know what is going on?

A house burned down in Black Sands subdivision. It was the second home as you drive into he neighborhood. If you need to access the area, it would probably be better to take Upper Puna Rd. to the back entrance. There are no reports of injuries yet, but residents did hear an explosion(Propane tank?). I hope the resident and our Firefighters are OK.

Sorry to hear the source of all the emergency vehicle response was a housefire rather than a readiness drill; hopefully nobody was injured.

I saw the "gold badge" (FD Suv) go by Hwy 130/132 just about 10:40-5 ish.
