Hey Everyone!
My husband and I are coming over in May to visit our property on Mt. View side, YEA!!!
We want to rent a Harley for the duration of the trip as we are avid riders here in Illinois (not at the frozen moment however...)
Is there any advice anyone can give regarding riding a bike on the island? Anything we should know?
All advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated! See Ya'all soon!

Hey ya all,
Welcome to the Big Island of Hawai'i. My name is Chili, and I use to ride Harley's. I'm moving into my new house, just being built in Mt View on the 15th of March. There is a Harley rental shop on the Kona side of the island. Their number is........808-326-9887
There is also a Harley shop in Hilo, ....808-934-9090, but I'm not sure if they rent bikes. The cost is about $100.00 a day. I can put you up for a few days, there's still room on the floor with some sleeping bags and blankets for padding and warmth if you are so inclined. Let me know what's the scoop. I can pick you up at the airport and you can plan your trip from there. You will need a valid motorcycle endorsement on your license. No helmets are required in Hawai'i though highly recommended by this rider. Lots of places to check out and enjoy while keeping the sun in your face and the wind at your back. My email address is.........HiloDivers@msn.com or Chili@HILODIVERS.com Feel free to get in touch and ask questions. Aloha, and keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down,
Chili
