Hui Pono Holoholona 501c3 Animal Organization is sponsoring the second spay /neuter clinic for the University’s feral cat colonies under the management of Dr. Kim Kozuma and the Hawaii Island Pre-Vet Club (HIPVC), this Saturday, October 29th, in Kurtistown. Hui Pono Holoholona has extended an invitation to any High School Students with an interest in animal husbandry, animal science, or the Veterinarian field to attend under its educational and pet responsibility program. The students will view the actual spay/neuter surgery, have a better understanding on the purpose and humane efforts in a T-N-R-M cat colony program, and to ask Dr. Kim Kozuma,DVM, a great mentor, any and all questions related in animal science towards their future career goals.
Hui Pono Holoholona low cost spay/neuter program for dogs and cats and has spay/neutered over 2,000 animals. We are in need of your support with monetary and HI 5 bottle/can donations. We are also accepting donations of the following: Pet food, Humane Live Traps, kennels, fencing, pet carriers, towels, tarps, and T-Shirts. We are in great need of acquiring 10 or 20 acres to provide an onsite spay/neuter clinic, enlargement of our animal sanctuary and host other animal community events.
