What's with gas prices??

Went to Costco in Kona yesterday for our semi annual "stock up on groceries" marathon and noticed that the gas there is now "higher" in price than several stations in Hilo. It use to be 20 to 30 cents per gallon less than any gas station on the island. Does anyone know why?

Same thing here in Canada. It could be the Spring break thing. Prices always seem to rise during holidays. We are still pretty lucky though. I was just over in Europe last week. Prices are more than double what they are here in North America. $100 to fill the average tank.
