Ahhh, mary... great question. I have planted an orchard with around 55 fruit trees with 1/2 citrus and the other half stone fruits. we are way too soon on the time curve to judge rests but we have planted plucots 10 or 12 other weird hybrids I never heard of before. Will post results here over time and you are free to call me and come see where we are on the production curve. They are allow chill (except the citrus) and from a nursery that specializes in stuff for Hawaii... and the nursery is on Oahu somewhere. I am still taking the medication that makes me loopy but this is o th up-and-up. /as always i am happy to share information as the proess sworkd out. Ii will get the exact information published here and share it. Feel free to com get he information from us ...... aloha The more of us that have this information, the more comforavle and our lovely Puna will become.

I am at a rainy 1,200 feet and have not at yet found a low chill apricot that does well. Some will grow slowly (not vigorously, never bear and eventually die. If you find one that works for you, it will work for me, so please let me know the variety and the source. mahalo.
