I loved that song! Not to sound fruity or nothing but it came along during the Vietnam War time 1968. Lyrics were by a guy named Hal David, music of course was by the great Burt Bacharach. Song was sung by a gal named Jakie DeShannon. It was perfect for the times back then just like the song "Abraham, Martin & John", was perfect for the times too.

oh yeah, youtube video was cool, but this song would have been way better than the "Puke Dogs" song that was with the clip, don't you think?

That song actually reminds me of Austin Powers baybee...when they are on top of the bus driving through London and BB is on the piano...very funny stuff!
I was really moved by this video...it really touched me that when the little old lady first hugged him the video went into color...
