heard it loud and clear ... Hawaiian Beaches... By the way...

The test is NOT just today but EVERY first Thursday of the Month ... Suppose to be @ noon but 11:45 is close enough I guess... So if your not hearing it write Billy a nice sweet letter for a reason as to why.

Personally I've sent Billy 5 messages and no reply to any of them. I don't know if they get read but kinda sad. I voted for Kim because Billy is lacking big time. But other than that! Have a great day!

Apparently, more than a few people missed this news from last month:

U.S. government to give Hawaii $1.3M to upgrade tsunami sirens
Sep 29, 2012

The article states the funding is for Oahu and the BI. It says 6 new locations were going to be added and 10 sirens were being replaced. It's doubtful that funding has shown up yet and these tests are only confirming areas that need covering and replacement of failed sirens.

It's also extremely misguided to satisfy some finger-pointing need at Kenoi when the sirens come under Hawaii State Civil Defense and Hawaii State Civil Defense comes under Department of Homeland Security.

...we live very near the HPP Makuu x 6th siren. Know it well.
The schedule is the first workday (no holidays, Saturdays, Sundays) of every month.
