Ohana....February 2013
#1
[Big Grin]

Making plans to come to Puna for the month of February to find and purchase a retirement home and meet some of the characters I have been blogging with the last few months. [8D]

The decision to come to Hawaii to live and become part of the community is calculated and sincere, and I know there is not any real need for more folks to come to paradise as every additional person who shows up consumes resources which already in some cases are stretched already, having said that, I want everybody to know I wish to be part of the solution and not part of the problem.

A couple of things top know about me is I am a Disabled Vietnam Veteran, ( I am able to take care of myself without assistnce), and financially secure (not rich), retired, and absolutely can not function below 40 degrees F, or above 90 degrees F. It's not that I just don't like the weather above or below those benchmarks either...[xx(]

Enough said about that, but the Cancer from the Agent Orange has taken a lot of the good thing away from me for over half the year the last 4 years, I really need to get out of Iowa soon.[:p]

I am alcohol and drug free, no tobacco either.

Ok, Back on subject...anybody have an Ohana, mostly for sleeping, fridge, bed, shower, fan and microwave is about all it needs to have.

Somewher close or in Pahoa?

Cell phone coverage or internet access is a must, one or the other, but both would be better.

Thanks[Wink]

"For Rent" not looking for chairity, maybe I could help somebody who needs it more than a VRBO owner or Hotel chain?

Maybe meet folks who will be my neighbors for the next/last phase of my life.[?]
