Secure your pets for New Years Eve

The annual New Years barrage has started already here in HPP. Just a reminder to all pet owners to keep your animals in secure, preferably indoor, quarters until it is all over. Every year we get sad threads from heartbroken pet owners whose terified dogs or cats ran away. An ounce of prevention . . .

Also remember to put safety first, fireworks, although great fun, sparkly & alluring (and a really great way to burn through some extra cash), can & do cause serious injury... & not just to those other guys....DH used to think I was over the top on this, but after one of his best friends' husband blew off his right hand on a 4th celebration fireworks (that did not get "completely out of hand") he has allowed me this one freak out with few complaints...
