Most of the neighborhood dogs went howling about then, usually this response is for multiple ambulances or earthquakes...I did not feel anything - no ambulances - & our dog was asleep...but I did wonder enough to check the earthquake website, but there hadn't been any activity all day, so I thought "stooopid dogs" & forgot about it until reading this... who knows, maybe there was something to howl at!

didn't feel anything ... hawaiian beaches. coqui's going mad from the small sprinkles. Usually they go dead if there is anything shaking.

The only thing that happened today so far was this according to the quake page...

Last summer, I was out in the carport (it's independent from the house structure but wood structured) working and the structure swayed rhythmically for 15 seconds. No wind at all. Checked on the "quake" page and nothing registered. But that structure was ticking back and forth...quite unnerving.

I have wondered why some of our "felt tremors" go unnoticed by the seismograph. I think this is twice for Leilani shakes that went unregistered in the last four months.

julieb - there was a small earthquake that occurred about 15-20 minutes before your post and not a million miles from your location. 2.2 magnitude which wouldn't normally be felt but it was at the surface so guess it could have been felt by someone nearby. I suppose this info may have been added a day or two after the event which would explain why it wasn't in the list earlier, but don't know for certain.
