Hi all,
I will be back on island the 8th, I was wondering, when I was there last month, I noticed a ton of torn down trees and ripped up earth near the top of Kapoho Road, anyone know what's up?

Aloha Niki: Not sure what you are referencing with 'top of Kapoho Road', but using your visual cue I would say that you were seeing the grading and grubbing prep for what will soon be a rather large papaya farm. the planting lines have been dug and perhaps by the 8th there may be keiki in the ground.
Good luck in your property search, have you narrowed it down yet?

Thanks David!
I thought I may have been for a farm or pasture, couldn't have been for housing, they tore down every last tree! Haven't picked a place yet, that's what the next couple months are for. I will be staying up Hamakua way this time, but I am sure you will see me around Uncle Roberts once or twice. Look for a little white Geo Tracker.

It is a papaya farm, I saw that couple weeks ago and asked about it. First I saw it, I was thinking houses, but the ground was never leveled out. Those trees sure made a nice fence!
