I know this will not help with your grief over Talyn...
But we have a crop of feral cats that we have tried to socialize for about 3-4 weeks before we take them to KHS. I was told that if they are socialized they wont be gassed.
One is black, one is white & black, one is grey and one is grey & white.
They need love, and they appear healthy, and have been well fed since we first saw them. They appear to be 6-8 weeks old. We can pick them up and pet them now.
If you would like one instead of one more going to KHS I would be happy to bring you one.

That is a very kind offer kapohocat, but we arent looking to adopt any more, just still hoping to retrieve moya. But the offer is greatly appreciated.

I completely understand. Our kitty died in April and my hubby said no more cats.

Contact the Humane Society to let them know that Talyn was found and Moya is still missing, (do they have a photo of her?) ask if they could that run a microchip scan on any tabby cat brought in.
Hawaii Tribune Herald 935- 6621 has a LOST and FOUND pet section in classifieds, ad will run free for 3 days, specify you want the ad in Friday, Saturday and Sunday's paper. (Sundays has the largest circulation) If possible, pay the extra and run the ad longer, also list reward.
