Has any one put one in is it a lot of plumbing?What can of space is needed my pump house is little?Where is the best place to buy one?

use them for both drinking water and pond filtration. The drinking water unit mounted under the house - required cutting into the supply line and installing 2 fittings and some mounting clamps that held the unit up.

It burns 18 watts - and flows at 8 gpm - 300 or so at amazon

Bullwinkle, does the UV light prevent algae growth? Are your ponds very clean? I'm interested.

We purchased ours at Island Catchment and had DrainPipe Plumbing put it in. Good unit, GREAT work. We've had ours a little over a year and really like it. It is quite tall though, and you have to be able to lift the bulb UP and out so make sure you have plenty of room to lift the bulb up.

Havent had much luck with the pond uv system -

after trial and error found the best method was a home built pressure filter using a 32 gal trash can, black cinder and polyurethane foam as a pre filter.
