Time Warner is in the process of installing Wifi hotspots throughout downtown Hilo and Kona among other areas around the island. I thought this was a great idea until I read the part where it isn't free (except for certain Time Warner customers) . And then my next thought is: Why bother? So many places have it free already and practically everyone has a cellphone with internet access from their provider (ATT, Verizion, etc). Why would anyone use it?
