She is apparently flying under the radar, in fact, I'm not even certain we have 2 Reps in the House? Since becoming more aware of the issues and challenges facing US, been trying to make my contribution by signing petitions to our Rep(s?) and Senators. Senators Hirono and Schatz in my experience usually directly address my submissions with a personal email acknowledging reception and explaining their stances. Representative Gabbard is less punctual and apparently cherry picks her responses. To this date I have received ZERO communications from Rep Hanabusa - any comments?

I've had a zero response rate from Hanabusa too.

I think that although Rep. Hanabusa is a member of our Hawaii delegation, she is Rep for CD 1, not this CD-(2nd).
I find that Rep. Gabbard (CD-2) usually responds to communications, but not always.
Both offices are responsive on major issues however.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Gov. Neil Abercrombie said that he doubted the late Sen. Dan Inouye wrote a letter later received by Abercombie recommending U.S. Representative Colleen Hanabusa as his Senate successor.
While clarifying that he did think it represented Sen. Inouye's thoughts, Gov. Abercrombie called the letter "problematic" and said that he received it, "ostensibly from Sen. Inouye himself," just thirty minutes before Inouye died in Washington, D.C.
"I think it was kind of created," Abercrombie told the Times. "I don't dispute for a second it represented his thinking, but it's far from being a dying wish, sent from Washington and signed and sealed by Sen. Inouye."
Wonder how Abercrombie thinks this will help him, and what his angle is at this point? It's a done deal, he made his choice. Why bring this up?
Politics at it's best/worst. JMO.

All I know is Hanabusa voted to support the NSA mass spying, so No Hanabusa for me.

I have found Hanabusa completely non-responsive. She won't get my vote either. Frankly the whole Inouye thing with Hanabusa was Democratic politics at its worst.

TG seems to do a lot more on FB and twitter and I get email updates from her office.

As far as the US Senate election is concerned, I've got reasons to be uncomfortable with both candidates.
