The Merrie Monarch is upon us again! Enjoy the festivities, drive safely, and have patience (it is a virtue, or so they say []. Traffic sucks more than ever this week. Ugh!).
The hula is such a big part of our culture as it tells a story. Both the kahiko (ancient) and awana (modern) hula nights are fantastic. The chants and songs this year are again meaningful, and are part of the story of Hawai'i.
