I saw a new name on a county council candidate sign today: Aaron Chung. The sign didn't say which district though. Anyone here know anything else on this?

District 2. I think he may have been on the council before.

Yoshimoto's district, I believe.
He belongs to the era of Matayoshi, Kokubun, Yamashiro, and James Arakaki, who allegedly groomed him.
At one time, Chung beat the ever humble and statesman-type, Elroy Osorio. He is (or was) an attorney (UCLA Law School). He entered politics a while ago, and it is interesting he steps up for Yoshimoto's seat at this time.
His competition for this seat is to be determined. If no one else with some background pulls papers, he may be a "shoe in" as the saying goes. The list in his district is slim at this point. FWIW.
