Always thankful to be in Puna on Sep 11th?.

Most of us can probably remember where they were, what they were doing, and what they may have been thankful for back on That Sep 11th?.
For my wife and I we were right here expecting our second child, holding our first very tight.we were very thankful to be in Puna. Well so much has happened in the following years, one thing has remained the same, we are still very happy and thankful to be in Puna. We are worried our lives or way of life for us and our keiki is about to change dramatically when we are somewhat left isolated, or at the very least secluded due to mother natures next disaster or her cleaning of puna.

We won't ever forget sep11th for the rest of our lives. We are very thankful for our way of life here in the islands. That has been made possible by our great nation and the sacrifices that have been made for the greater good of most. As a community we should stand strong and come together, help one another through these trying times. Maybe some very good things in life can come from such adversity?. Change is upon us, what can we do with it?.

I will not forget Sept 11, 1992 either.

Sept 11, 2001 I was in Honomu with one baby brother a firefighter and one a airline pilot (in the air on the East Coast).

May I live to never see a day like either of those two days again.
