Vacuum Sealer recommendations?

We had a chance to borrow a friends VacMaster VP215 which is designed for commercial use and hunters. It costs $1000 on Amazon and is designed for continuous use, meaning it does not overheat and shutdown. It can easily seal items with liquid and includes an adjustment for the amount of sealing pressure for items that can crush, like baked items. We also bought a VacMAster V2244 on Amazon for $62 to compare and found the VacMaster met our needs. Liquids do sometimes get sucked into a small tray in the sealing chamber but the Vacmaster sealer allows you to stop the vacuum process when you feel enough air has been sucked out and then press the seal button. This is good for liquids and baked items. We get extra bags on Ebay. Our best discovery is that Fresh Guacamole can be vacuum sealed and frozen and defrosted in a bowl of cold water ( still in the bag) and it comes out fresh!

That's the model I ordered yesterday...partly for price and partly because I'd like the option to control the sealing process for liquids and baked goods. Love the guacamole tip!
