About 50-100 flights over my place in Eden Roc, every day. What are they doing? Who's paying the gas? Meanwhile, they *might* be able to schedule an overflight mapping the lava on any given day. Really messed up priorities here.

Green harvest seems to be late Summer. There are lots of flights out to Pu'u'o'o that pass over ER. One day I'll pay the fare for a few friends and I and we'll ask to fly slowly over my house on 19 and hopefully get some nice arial pics of the place that are a little more detailed than google or bing.

I had a friend that live here for 40 years tell me a couple of months ago that they would be flying green harvest after elections I guess he was right.

Hi From Hamakua. We get lots of Blue Hawaiian/Paradise helos overhead headed to Waipio. They also circle the numerous large Waterfalls nearby. We've had lots of GH flights up here lately as well as the occasional military bird or 2. Heck I even see the Mokulele Caravan now and then. As I pilot, I don't mind; this is a tourist based economy, and the folks that fly are not the cheap ones. They invest into this economy and help us all.
