If you folks want to bitch slap each other you will have to do it somewhere else. Keep it up and it will quickly become vacation time for more than one individual.

Jeffhale is a constructive human being, if somewhat brusque sometimes. "America, the land of the free, home of the brave". Free & Brave whom? Police? No, it's up to US. America is "Free and Brave" only as long as it's citizens are. "Damian007"..what the hell is that?

Persons on this list should not be allowed to obtain or carry a US Passport or Hawaii State ID card or any form of identification other than that of "The Kingdon". The list goes on and on... The argument of the person involved in this traffic stop may have merit, but this person needs to truly live by his convictions! In my opinion he isn't - he's just grandstanding. This is also not the way to "fight for his cause" in my opinion. I applaud the police officers in this case.
Edited to add US Passport
Excellent post in my opinion.
@Jeffhale, I am so sorry to hear of you enduring such a horrible experience. Hopefully it has made you a stronger person and better person in the long run, somehow hopefully you have gained and it wasn't in vain. I don't think it would be that hard for all local or state governments or even the feds to be responsible for a 3rd party evaluation team to assess officers once a year or so to weed out the criminals. I think that's what the entire nation needs. Small independent group of psychologists, behavioral analysts etc.. I worked for a company that brought one of those groups in to interview and observe all of us. It wasn't that big of a deal, they weren't around for that long and they blew my socks off on my behavior analysis with recommendations on how to optimize my job performance. They saw my character in depth, unbelievably beneficial to me even to this day decades later.
Easy fix. Should have been implemented for all police depts in the USA decades ago.

the police used tremendous restraint in this situation, no matter being videoed it took alot of control. the argument is an old one and arguing with a cop is not a proper way to address the issue . the cop is a paid county employee enforcing the current laws in the state .
what the driver did was stupid the whole thing could have ended very badly , and for what .. to prove a point something that can only be addressed in a different venue of law. if we as a society loose respect for police we are dooming ourselves to civil unrest , a total lawless society , and chaos

Everyone wants everything for nothing.
Has this guy paid into or done anything for the "Hawaiian kingdom" like any kind of service or tribute? If I recall correctly, all subjects of the alii had to perform some service or pay a tribute to the king. Correct me if I'm wrong, but no one got to live here for "free".

Jo'jo claims if the officer gives him a ticket then he in return would have to give the officer a human violation ticket. Huh? Is this a common practice or protocol used by the Hawaiian sovereignties nationalists?. I mean is this what they are to say or do if ever written a ticket american style. Happen to see two of these yellow very odd looking license plates the last few days around town, are these the legal sovereignty plates?. Would you still have to get a safety or registration sticker like others? Accidents involving these types of plates would be recognized or paid for by what insurance (state)?
My opinion is that JoJo is a great actor and had premeditated this event in hope of avoiding costly tickets. This in turn cost all of us taxpayers more for the patients test these officers had to endure. The public disturbance or black eye the incident brought to many organizations was classless.
Probably will in some way factor in to higher priced tickets in the future for things like egg beating trespassers to seat belt infractions. "Citizen Disobedience" = More men = more Time = more $ = more laws = better pensions for some, yet higher gas, milk, and bus prices for me. my guess is that Jojo enjoys learning about law, he will see the light unlike most others, and become chief of police here one day. Seems you may have to spend time in prison to qualify.
