Does nighttime drilling ban apply to PGV?

Please forgive my ignorance, I know you are the expert on these matters. Even after reading the 3 microfilm rolls from the previous lawsuit in 1994, I still do not hold your dismal view of my fellow Punatics, despite the evidence you provide with every post.

But I'll keep listening and trying to understand.

Anyone know if the rig is up?

Actually H2S sensors happen to be instruments I used to sell. Two workers in the paper storage warehouse were killed by H2S that made its way up Boise Cascades sewer.

Manufactured by MSA. Mine Safety Appliance.

Despite their expense and a good instrument shop at the mill they had problems too.

One problem is calibration and the cheaper the sensor the more likely they cannot be kept in calibration very long. Winter -35F temps and we suspect the crew were just pretending they did the calibration.

Likely here cheap sensors and not understanding calibration must be often.

Funny:

eceived 24 noise complaints while drilling occurred. Half came from one residence

Funnier:

A lawsuit ... seeking to stop PGV from drilling at night has not been resolved.

"Kaleikini said it’s still unknown what has caused a decrease in production, though a reduction in the heat source, blockages in the injection wells and mechanical failures have been past causes for drops in output."
That is interesting that output has dropped to 26MW. PGV is kind of stuck in a transition period for geothermal power production, that is, needing to hit a brine aquifer pocket for the superheated steam. New turbine design won't have this requirement but they are still developmental. Puna Porno Alliance is such a joke, it's just a figment of Petricci's imagination. Interesting, how a fictional organization can file a lawsuit. Time for Mr. Magoo to file a lawsuit, too, and claim PGV caused him to go blind.
