Attention Hawai‘i Island high school students! Gain hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture and learn about island food systems in this one-week program. Visit and work on farms and enjoy the great outdoors—the ‘#257;ina is your classroom!

Take field trips to local, sustainable, and organic farms
Explore exciting and rewarding career opportunities in agriculture
Gain hands-on organic farming experience []
Earn a stipend for successfully completing the program
The next session will be held March 16–20, 2015, to coincide with the Hawai‘i public school intersession. Each day starts and ends in Honoka‘a.
The application deadline is Wednesday, March 11.
