Yes, I'm watching the loop of the thermal camera there. If you slow it down there's an "event" at around 18:30 and the lava starts flowing off to the bottom right. Just before this you can see the level of the lake rise quite quickly.

Thanks, Carey. If I have my geography right, the "event" I saw in the thermal images this evening was near that spot, so wonder if something is going on there? Perhaps there's a gap in the rim at that point. One or two images this evening seemed to suggest to me that the lava was flowing in that direction, i.e., that lava was exiting the vent.

BTW, my post earlier in this thread about Kilauea contracting at night had a smiley after it. I was not being serious.

As of right now, lava is flowing into the crater flow...if you can go to the link it is HOT! (well warm in the thermal)!:
