Orchidland road fees increase 235%
#41

"You don't want to pay whatever your association charges, then buy a place on a public road."

1. Why on Earth would I do that? I would just stop paying the road fees like 40% of the Orchidland lot owners already have.

"All this after the fact whining about the system being unfair because someone's neighbor has more people living on their land than they do is childish."

2. If not to whine on the internet, then where? Every successful privately funded road system I've encountered is USER BASED. If you feel proven logic is childish, then by all means lets start electing children into office. Let's start with Orchidland.

"Do your due diligence, if the rules let them raise rates in big jumps then go to meetings or join your board, but don't act like it is some unfair surprise that you have to pay your fees per lot."

3. Refer to #1. It's a much more sane response than dealing with the revolving door they call the "board". At least until we can get some children elected.
