horseback riding tours
#1
Does anyone out there have personal experience with the horseback riding opportunities here on the Big Island? My parents are coming in March and I want to give them a riding trip for Christmas, but they are experienced riders and own their own horses, so I want to find them a tour which IS NOT a boring nose to tail type of ride. Any suggestions from someone who has taken one of the riding trips?

These folks are good.
I've gone with 'em twice in the last year in fact.

Wonderful scenery up that way of course.
Horses are well cared for and frisky.
And they'll let you loose to canter and such -- in areas that aren't too rocky.

"canter"

Lol.. I always wondered who used words like "canter". hehe maybe after you canter around a bit they'll let you lope out their horses as well.

I'm sorry Mo. I just couldn't resist. But hey you ride and dive.. you're a keeper for sure.

Dear Dove,

Mahalo for your understanding when it comes to my cornycopia of colloquialisms.
Clearly, what I meant to say, of course, was banter.

Hello Malolo.

I love friendly banter but I would be remiss if I didn't point out that you have now misspelled my name. It's Dave as opposed to Dove. Although I'm certain that this was just a Freudian slip... Giddy-up!

Blessings,
dave
