Anyone know of small singing groups or choruses that are active in Puna? Or anyone up for having a sing a long just for laughs?

Edinbears,
Can't help directly, but if you don't get any helpful replies someone at the Hilo Concert Society might be able to give some pointers. http://www.hawaiiconcertsociety.com/ The society's president is a good friend of mine (he was my boss for a number of years!), so if you don't get anywhere drop me a line via punaweb and I'll see what I can do.

"of course, you have to be a man to join."
Fair point, Lee, but let's hope that doesn't continue. The conductor doesn't need to be male, so that's a start. https://youtu.be/FlDouZfWwBM But I have to ask how the late Richard Attenborough managed to get a gig with these guys. Look for him. He's there! [] http://www.post-gazette.com/image/2014/0...e00l29.jpg

The men's chorus website is inactive and the Facebook page seems unused since 2014?
I will try the concert society though, so thanks for that

Aloha Edinbears: I hope that you are still looking at this topic after what seemed to be a 'sign off' in your post this morning.
If you travel to the Center for Spiritual Living 31st at Paradise in HPP Sunday Oct. 18 1 pm, you will be welcomed at the first rehearsal for a Dec. 19 Christmas concert at the Palace Theater in Hilo. I'll be out of the country by then, but tell anybody that I sent you and you will be introduced to the group. -dwajs
