No relatives there, but it's still very sad. I've been to Paris and it's really hard to be imagine something like this.
Nice thing about Hawaii, is its not really a good target for terrorism, but we will not immune to its effects, especially if something happens again on the mainland.
It's a very good idea to keep up with world events and be prepared.

Time for France (and Europe in general) to get tough. I don't see how allowing hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) more Muslims into Europe is going to do anything except encourage more attacks. Close the borders, permanently.
