I think your best bet is to raise some hens and/or rabbit. You will never again need to look for chicken poo.

We got some at Ace Hardware by Malama Mkt. in Pahoa. It came in bags & we hauled it in our minivan. It didn't smell bad like steer manure does, & it's worked very well for our garden soil. No weeds in it either.

The Co-op on Holomua (?) off Makaala in Hilo has bags for $6.50 for non-members. Garden Exchange also has it, but I cannot remember what their non-sale price is.

They had a pallet of bags of chicken crap at Walmart the other day in the garden center near the door. I think it was $5.36 a bag.

ETA: While I was buying some crap from Walmart that day, I wasn't buying chicken crap, so I didn't look to see how much the bags weighed.
