Communication problem?

Pardon me for posting this here, but it seems I am unable to send messages to other members unless replying to their posts.

Is anybody else having this problem or is this the way it is supposed to be?

The email feature on Punaweb is broken, has been for quite some time. I suspect it won't be fixed without a major upgrade and that might not be a popular decision.

When you receive the bounced email back from your email provider, simply look through the message - it has the email address of the person you were trying to send to, inside it.

leilanidude - I tried that tactic myself this evening. I tried sending myself an email via Punaweb. All I got was a page that said "We've happened upon a bit of a problem" and no bounced email.

I suspect your suggestion used to work, but no longer.

yeah... I actually made an email link one could put in a signature. I guess it was too much work! Never really caught on, so I gave up on it. Would be nice to PM or email others. There are all kinds of Puna groups on FB forming. Can post video and pictures as well. Can private message or email. Some here don't really like FB, then there are others on dial up, and I'm not sure how FB works on that if at all being so slow. PunaWeb is what it is, you just have deal with the minor quirks.
