My wife and I are reasonably informed voters. We enjoyed the candidate forums (mahalo Rene Siracusa) prior to the last elections. Now signs are going up but as of yet I don't see any of our vociferous, illogical, demented, spacey or not-of-this-earth candidate's signs. The forums are looking dull. But I have faith that Puna will provide. Please, folks, land your saucers, put up signs, start waving and let us know you are still out here. Way out there. I love Puna.

I would rather see the candidates answer questions in a straight forward manner, rather than watch them disrupt traffic with sign waving.
Here are some questions the candidates might tackle:
1. What is your position on raising the DAT?
2. What is your position on TMT? If you oppose it, how do you propose the County make up the billion dollars it would provide to the Island's economy and the lost money that would have provided education a grants to college students?
3. Do you believe that a man with a doctoral degree in Jurist Prudence who uses an excuse that he did not know he should avoid using his County issued credit card when he visits "Hostess Bars"?
