I would not have even mentioned [edit - not mentioned it here] the hot food table not being on if the table had been treated properly...
As others have said, first night jitters are one thing, but to knowingly serve food that has been keep outside of the safe temperature zone... really not good!
And to charge patrons at other tables full buffet price for a buffet that had half of the entrees re-heated from tepid temps... (full disclosure, they did discount our meals to the lunch price after I went to pay the bill & mentioned that the food was still out after being at room temperature)
That is poor management & I felt that it would only be fair to warn others...
Sorry if some think otherwise...but I did mention, even when paying the bill, that the reheated entries should not be out, and they were still left out...
& since I may created some interest in the new restaurant with this thread, I reported back...
