Look at it this way.. a 20 ft container has a capacity of 55000 lbs. Fill a container ship it off.. 55000 * 80 cents a pound = 44000.00 minus shipping of course. Nothing Unique to hawaii..there are scammers in every state.. hire meth heads to do the grunt work.. the only expences are shipping... meth.. and a case a ramen noodles once in a while.( for the meth heads)
Its a lucrative business whether you do it legal or not.

I can barely hire someone competent enough to pull a few weeds, and show up on time. Imagine the fortitude required to run a business with meth heads as employees, who's job description requires discretion, silence, and an ability to perform duties in an almost invisible manner. Teeth grinding, jittery jangly meth heads. Hopefully they'll work without medical and dental, as that's gotta cost a fortune.

Rode my bike out there the other day to take a look. The boxes were held down by 4 half inch studs with nuts, someone with a cordless nut driver or a ratchet could have had the nuts off in less than a minute. The one remaining box should have the exposed threads beaten with a hammer so the nuts will not come off.
