I can save them the money. Putting in a ferry dock out at sand island will cost way more than it's worth. If they want the ferry to dock at the park, they'll need to expand the road going the other direction because it's a small two lane through the park. If they put the dock elsewhere they will have to do some serious dredging.

There's not a lot of businesses on Sand Island to start with. I've never seen big traffic jams there that would even remotely be relieved by a ferry (it's already a 4 lane road).
