Sharks video
#1
http://www.youtube.com/user/HURLSubOps

Taken in 2006, the red lasers are a measuring tool. The reason this video is being shared is to show why clarity of water is so important to the islands. Video from 3300 feet below, taken by a submersible! Kewl.

A Star Bulletin article regarding the same shark.

OMG!!! My husband's life long hobby has been learning as much as he can about sharks. He is currently asleep on the couch (long day of plowing and shoveling snow). I can't hardly stand it! It's everything I can do not to wake him up! The fact that the shark was seen in Hawaiian waters makes it even more exciting. Mella, thank you so much for sharing the link!

Some more underwater intrigue, if you are interested in bioluminescence.
