Just plowed through the thread about Kaleo's restaurant (whew!) and had the sudden thought that maybe a separate restaurant forum would be cool. Could have star ratings that are averaged or just text threads like the current fora, but overall more convenient than restaurant reviews scattered throughout the general forum.

There is a restaurant review section on the "other" forum and there is one on konaforum.com too. The problem with restaurant reviews is that you need to go there frequently to get the "real" picture. The "other" forum reviews are mostly done by visitors who come to Hawaii maybe once and they go to any given restaurant maybe once. It's good as an opinion of that one visit but not good as a review of the restaurant.
I do the restaurant reviews on konaforum and I revisit the restaurants every two-three months to get a more accurate review.

Thanks for the links to the review sites. I was aware of KW's reviews, but the other suggestions were new to me.
I guess there's no real reason to reinvent the wheel.
