Bill 160 was in front of the council >>

"You know, HiloPuna, I don't hide my commentary behind aliases. Not one person in this thread has the guts to identify themselves. And since I read/post on PW infrequently, I don't know who's who here. I just want to point out some simple basic facts: There is still a general election scheduled for November. Ashley will not be sworn in as a council member until December. Eileen will still be representing and conducting council business at its twice-a-month meetings through November. You're welcome!"

Hmm....I'd guess from your editorializing about online identity and the answering of unasked questions that you're not too comfortable wearing "lipstick"?

H/P, maybe because I'm approaching 74 years of age (in 10 days, in case anyone's looking to give me birthday presents...lol) I don't have an effing clue what you're talking about lipstick. I've used lipstick for the past 60 years to moisten/lubricate my mouth as I have sensitive skin and grew up and live in very sunny, hot climates. My brothers used to make fun of me for putting on makeup to go to the beach but they sold makeup before they started selling sunscreen. And cosmetic companies have it in their best interest to keep their customers cancer-free, etc. One of my bros has since died from skin cancer. Cosmetic companies used the ingredients in sunscreen long before sunscreens became commercially available. And the post was about Bill 160, which I answered; nothing about lipstick, or "Frankie." So, unless you're willing to identify yourself to me, leave me out of your posts.

Sorry for confusing you, I was confused myself. I conflated two comments made some months ago on another thread that you contributed to, "Ashley 4 Puna"(A4P) It was quite active for a while but has been replaced by others on the topic of D-4 council. Here's the timeline and excerpts from the posts;

FS 4/17 "....regarding Ashley Kierkiewicz's running for County Council to represent lower Puna. I wish she'd just go get a job as a high fashion model...she'd be good at that! "

Punaticbychoice 4/19 "...Agree with Frankie Stapleton. Ashley Kierkiewicz is pretty lipstick for the corrupt old boy regime..."

WHen 1V1, the OP of this thread, introduced his question re: Bill 160's future he used the term "Lipstick Girl" to belittle AK and then went on to demean her as "Puna's new representative for Hilo's interests". I remembered the earlier thread (A4P) in which she was treated dismissively but didn't check it prior to attributing to you the "lipstick" moniker.

So I wrote in my initial reply post "...( "Lipstick girl", really? nice job Frankie, shows just how powerful that sisterhood really was) That was the point where I conflated the two earlier references in the A4P thread and has led to this confusion. My bad.
I apologize for the snarky reference(s).

H/P, thnx for your apology....accepted. I hope I've been wrong about AK; it would be wonderful if she turns out to be a great public servant for the people and district of PUNA!
