Aloha! Wondered if anyone can recommend a car repair shop that works on transmissions in Hilo. I have a 2001 Ford Ranger.

We took our '98 Mazda beater to Transmission Tech, thinking its transmission was shot. They said all it needed was a flush and adjustment, and it's running fine 40,000 miles later. Cost about $100. Good, honest people.

Mahalo for all of your help. We have an appointment with Trans Tech but they couldn't squeeze the Ford in until Dec 14!! Hard to wait that long and looks like the only other option is the dealer[]
