Hilo town really stinks now

Is that a tree without a home? I go to the dive shop often and its across fro the bandstand. I havent noticed any more or les stink near there.

The tree by the bus stop does emit an odor similar to urine but that is not the smell I'm talking about. This is a strong garbage smell that permeates the air far from that tree. That tree has been there for decades and I'm familiar with the smell. Try taking a walk around town, then you'll smell it.

The homeless? The overflowing landfill? The tree? The lack of rain? Hmm not sure I'll be rushing to go downtown anytime soon to experience this and decide for myself.

One could argue that the lack of rain and slow trade winds are allowing the dumpsters in town to bake in the hot sun. Restaurant dumpters in particular can get nice and "juicy" in the hot weather. I dont believe I've ever seen any one hosing one off.

Alaska had plant that produced flowers that smelled like feces. I don't remember what it was called we just called it the sh!t lily. The flowers attracted flies and pollinated the plant.

After humans kill all the bees, there is still hope. Maybe plants will evolve to attract cockroaches.
