Observations completed by Karen Meech and her team at the University of Hawaii indicate the comet nucleus is somewhere between 1.2 and 10 miles (2 and 16 kilometers) in diameter.

Just to avoid confusion, Jon's post was about the discovery of water on an exoplanet which might suggest the chances of life forming there. HOTPE's post is about a newly discovered comet with an orbit that suggests its origin is interstellar.
