The Yelp reviews are horrible, but I understand how many people only go there to complain.

A guy walked down my driveway 2 weeks ago and asked if he could show us the steaks he was selling.Walked back out and drove in with his vehicle that had a freezer loaded with boxes of steaks.

We bought the big kahuna and it looks good but I haven't tried it yet.It compares to the meat at Safeway that is not packaged and behind the meat counter.

Any idea on weight? I think its strange they sell packages of meat but the web site doesn't say how much a steak or burger weighs.

That's my take on this.
As I looked through the website, the first thing I noticed is that the offerings are listed as servings.
I can find nowhere the size of the servings is disclosed.
Leaves me very suspicious, as if they're not disclosing that the sizes may be smaller than one might expect.

But then, Mail order meats, fruits, and others are usually more expensive than store bought, but may be of better quality.

Until you know, it's a crap shoot.

Selling door to door makes me even more suspicious.

No weights. It comes frozen and vacuum packed. The different cuts are boxed and the whole thing comes in a larger box.
I don't normally make purchases like this but it looked good.

"I can find nowhere the size of the servings is disclosed."

10 USDA Prime London Broil---this is 2 London Broils that each provide 5 servings.

16 USDA Prime Burgers-------this is 8 packages that can each be made into 2 burgers.

Call the number and they will drive to your house. The guy had a hat and monogrammed shirt and an ID badge. The van is painted up with advertising. He will give you some spiel about it being on sale.

So did you try any of the meat yet? How was it?

We wound up trying this place out. They have a $5 delivery fee but seemed reasonable to OLE. No web ordering but was able to complete everything through email. Very prompt and professional. Delivery Monday.

ETA: They have items on their "retail price list" that aren't on the web site http://franksfoodshawaii.com/wp-content/...3D377.jpeg
