Will Covid-19 end sign waving or will we be subject to socially-distanced waving? I see pros and cons. Any comments?

We’ll get to see which candidates & their supporters endorse social distancing and mask wearing.

I see Ikaika Rodenhurst out there every morning and every afternoon, even in the rain... He's usually alone so no mask.

I was shocked to see a large Trump rally on Friday in front of Wal-Mart in Hilo in this very blue state of ours. They filled the entire grass area between Walgreens and Ross with scores of people, large signs and US flags. On the other side of town at the soccer fields there was a small handful of Biden supporters (maybe 5 or 6) and a few Green Party and Mitch Roth sign wavers. The contrast was surprising. I was assuming whoever I vote for the electoral college was going to give my vote to BIDEN, which stands for Biggest Idiot Democrats Ever Nominated, as we’ll see tomorrow. I don’t like either candidate.
I regards to our local elections, where’s the best place to see interviews of candidates running for election on Hawaii Island? I’m not basing my vote on sign and shaka waving or who has the best graphic artist or manicurist.

I saw it too. It was nice to see people waving the American flag for a change, instead of burning it.

I know lots of local folks that think there is a child abduction epidemic here on the Big Island, and Trump is going to save us from it. Also that the pandemic is a scam to control us with microchip laden vaccines, etc. Social media has turned their brains to mush.
I'm happy to see people waving the American Flag too, as long as they are wearing masks and distanced so my vulnerable aunties and uncles don't get sick from going to get groceries during another surge.

It can’t happen here. East Hawaii pizza restaurants don’t have basements. |
