Excellent quotes:
“... rich record of archaeological materials...”
vs.
“...lacks documented evidence of human activity...”

Until somebody built a road.

All of the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands have cultural significance, but only two islands, Mokumanamana and another called Nihoa, have a rich record of archaeological materials. However, in Hawaiian culture, lack of evidence doesn’t mean it lacks cultural significance.

Maunakea Volcano on the Island of Hawaii is another spiritual place that also lacks documented evidence of human activity at its summit compared with lower elevations.

"Carved stone figures with human shapes were also found on Mokumanamana — and they look unlike any others in Hawaii."

Where the aliens landed?

Thanks for that article kalianna

the real name in Necker Island.....  it was NOT known to the ancestors of the people you see here in Hawaii today...
iow. no so called 'Hawaiians' knew of it...

they knew of Nihoa, but nothing farther north...  Nihoa means 'tooth'

the fake Mokumanamana name is new...

Necker and Nihoa Island have both had carved stone figured found...
these small detailed stone idols were carved by the real true Hawaiians, the first ones here.  They came from the Marquesas Islands directly south of Hawaii.  these Marquesas people also were the first ones to find and settle Rapa Nui (Easter Island / Ile de Paque), thus the similarity of carving stone idols...
The Marquesas Islands are higher volcanic islands similar to Kauai in looks...  they are also the most heavily tattooed of all the Polynesians...

they were the first ones here, and lived for a few centuries peacefully w/o war!  then the Tahitian's came, these invading Tahitian-Hawaii kine people enslaved, tortured, then killed off these first real Hawaiians...

the original Marquesas Hawaiians were known as Menehune by the 2nd invaders from Tahiti/Society Islands...

fyi Manahune (w/A's) in Tahitian means 'small worthless person', or 'slave'

this was mistranslated c1778-94 by Cook, Clarke, Vancouver, Bligh, etc. as a small person in stature, not 'small in worth'.. thus the stupid boneheaded Menehune fables of being small elves or brownies, that happily made rock walls and fish ponds in a single night only being fed a single shrimp.... that still persist today...  reality was they were enslaved people that were forced to labor for the invaders, before being killed off....

the Marquesas-Original-Hawaiians carved stone idols with alot of detail, they also cut the rocks to fit together in their walls, very tightly fit....

when you see a rock idol that the 2nd invader kine Tahitian-Hawaiians worshipped they are all natural stone not carved, some have slight looks of a person, but really they dont look like people much..  the Tahitian-Hawaiians carved wood idols, not rock...  they also never carved or cut rock for walls, they only stacked them...

the differences of all this is stark and you can tell they were 2 completely different types of people, even though both are technically Polynesians....

Some day some other country will invade Hawaii, and all our haole great-grandchildren will be griping about the colonizers. I put my money on China. Then another 200 years and history will report that these islands were always Chinese, and no one will remember otherwise.
