I think we've been conned. We've now all had a chance "to post your well thought out positions and opinions" and yet the thread hasn't been deleted.

I never thought of it as a waste of time per se. 

Comparatively speaking, creating a thread, filling it full of vile posts and then deleting it seems to be such a much more waste of time than any paltry response I ever offered.

Been awhile but we have another.  I can't even keep track of who did the latest delete and which thread it was for that matter but for the most part it seems people have caught on to the technique of refraining to responding to trolls.

I think the latest deletion was a benign sounding request for an above ground pool installer recommendation near Pahoa. I was curious to see who does that, but when I went back to look, the tread was gone. Oh, well.
