Aloha, John. Kawika also does general carpentry work. I understand that he just about built his own house from the ground up. He is a really nice guy who kept all his promises with me. We hope to convert our garage to a family room one day, and he will be the first person we call. BTW, the Bear and I will be at the Punatic Party and hope to see you there.

Kawika is coming out to my lot today for an estimate. I'm so excited, he sounded like a nice fellow on the phone.

I just came from that Hilo house. Nice house. I've been in Wainaku for over a decade so it is good to see an old house being cared for. Don't worry, Kawika is finishing up your job before he starts mine, lol. Yeah, I decided to go w/ him too.

Crizzy, you should see the inside of that house. Amazing custom art on the walls (literally on the walls and even the floors). I owned that house 4 years ago and when it came back on the market, I had to save her. The exterior has just been completely repainted and tons of repairs done. Once Kawika finishes the fence, there's only a few more minor (but expensive) things have to be done and that 82-year old plantation home is back to her former glory.

Kawika was telling me about the art work inside. I would love to see it if you have the time. I live in the neighborhood now, but will be moving out to HPP next week Friday. I thought the place would make a cute rental. You have my cell #, right? Call me when you’re in the area, I’m on the road all day in Hilo so it is easy for me to meet you whenever. |
