D9 Dozer rates?

Anyone have recent experience withthe hourly rates on heavy dozers?

Wondering what a D9 goes for these days....

There was a listing on Craig's List for various heavy equipments w/operator with rates listed, but I forget what they were.

Kind of meaningless -- those guys put that "up to $1000" statement in there in a (useless) attempt to get around the contractor licensing laws. That has no bearing on what they'd actually charge you -- it only tells you quasi-secretly that "I am not licensed, bonded, insured or anything -- I may do a good job, but if I don't, well -- you're pretty much &$%^$ed."

Was that too blunt?

Last time I had d9 dozer work done on my property...the cost was $350.00 for the cost of bringing the dozer to my property and then $300.00 an hour for the machine and the operator. Or about $3000.00 a day.

We just paid $4,000 to have a 14,000 sf lot cleared, leveled and a housepad put in in Discovery Harbor.
