Eden Rock, especially the farthest end from the road gets lots and lots of VOG. If you check the site below for the sulfur dioxide levels on a regular basis it always is in the VOG circle if the trades don't blow.

I would hesitate to move there with children, elderly, or anyone with asthma or any other breathing issues in my household. Beautiful area, just really close to the current volcanic activity, even if it is in zone 2 or 3, which means VOG until the volcano settles down in a few hundred thousand or million years. Kilauea will eventually become as big as Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea, and the only way it will reach that height is by erupting. This really hit home for me when I read a vulcanologists report that said Kilauea would be erupting for as long as it is anticipated that humans will live on this planet. The report also said that every inch of the mountain would get recovered with fresh lava on average every 1000 years. Geologic time is a whole different time scale than we are used to thinking in, our lifetime is like a fruit fly's to a volcano.

] I agree with you in regards to HOVE, ER and FF. I would ratehr live in the latter two. (Not to mention that there is mch more VOG in HOVE!)
