INDONESIAN BALI HOMES

Has anyone on this list worked with the Bali/Indonesian kits? My main concern is that I will buy a house, have it shipped here, and then what was supposed to take 5 days (or 5k) to assemble will take weeks and weeks due to problems.

I need to find carpenters who can recommend a company--anyone here put up one of these house and can tell me who the contractor was who put it up? Any horror stories, or success stories?

there are a few manufacturer/builders on the island - perhaps they can give you the name of their builders...my current builder has built a bali home in naniloa which he said took longer than intended....you can email me for his contact information.

which company are you using in indonesia, i just came back from bali and saw just a few that can build to international standards and have cad programs that can be adjusted by your architect.

i'm also planning a project about a year down the road and might bring over one experienced supervisor from bali to help expedite the process faster.
